Corporate Secretary bankjatim Bambang Rushadi who received the group comparative study of BPD Aceh said that so far bankjatim very concerned about the implementation of CSR programs in order to run properly so that it can contribute to economic and social growth outside the company, interrelationship and mutual harmony between the company and society is one of the determining factor sustainability bankjatim. Therefore, he strongly welcomed the visit a comparative study of BPD Aceh.
"Fellow Regional Development Bank, both bankjatim and Bank Aceh certainly have the same social responsibility, not only to stakeholders or shareholders, but more than that would also be responsible for continuous growth environment around the company one is to implement CSR programs. Therefore, a comparative study visit of BPD Aceh in terms of CSR is a means to exchange ideas in order to realize the functions of the company in a sustainable growth, "said Bambang.
The scope of implementation of CSR programs in bankjatim divided into four areas: education, health, social, and cultural. CSR activities undertaken bankjatim continues to increase every year, where in 2014, bankjatim gives CSR Rp15,47 billion consisting of, among others:
- Education field of Rp2.05 billion ;
- Health field of Rp4,21 billion;
- Culture field of Rp538.05 million;
- Social field of Rp8,67 billion.
Distribution of CSR in bankjatim managed by the Corporate Secretary, who is responsible in full in order to distribute CSR directed and in accordance with the programs / fields that exist evenly throughout the working area bankjatim.
To be able to participate more in achieving sustainable growth, then in 2015 bankjatim CSR budget increase to Rp 23 billion from the beginning that only Rp 18 billion.
"Social and Environmental Responsibility is bankjatim commitment to continue to participate in the sustainable economic development to improve the quality of life and environment that is useful, therefore, to increase CSR budget by 2015 we expect more and give good feedback for all," said Bambang.
