Bank Jatim Submits CSR to the Government of Situbondo Regency

As a form of Corporate Social Responsibility to the community, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk. (bankjatim) handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in the form of People's Market and Business Group Facilities and Infrastructure, Procurement of 1 tractor machine and 14 trash bins at Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Islamic Boarding School, as well as the Construction of a Floating Library in Grouper Village and Place Procurement Portable Waste to the Government of Situbondo Regency. The CSR handover took place in the backyard of the Situbondo District Government Secretariat Office (09/03/21). CSR was symbolically handed over by the Director of Information Technology and Operations of bankjatim Tonny Prasetyo to the Regent of Situbondo, Drs. H. Karna Suswandi.

On this occasion, Karna Suswandi thanked bankjatim for its CSR. "We really appreciate bankjatim's current steps, then we will immediately give it to the beneficiaries," explained Karna Suswandi.

This CSR is a form of bankjatim's concern for the community, especially in the current pandemic conditions. In addition, the delivery of this assistance is a form of synergy from bankjatim in realizing social programs for the creation of a more environmentally friendly economy.

Tonny Prasetyo also hopes that this CSR can increase comfort and safety in shopping at people's markets, create a clean, healthy and comfortable educational environment and can add insight and knowledge. "I also hope that the Situbondo branch of bankjatim can continue to synergize and go hand in hand with the programs run by the Situbondo Regency Government as a stakeholder and the community to increase economic growth and develop regional potential", explained Tonny.
