COOPERATION Bank Jatim with Indonsia Bank (BI) should be appreciated. Now, customers of Rural Banks (BPR) in East Java can transfer funds between BPR and among BPR with of Commercial Banks easily and quickly. It can be done since the funds transfer system developed for BPR, known as Electronic Credit Transfer System (STKE) BPR
The new breakthrough in Indonesia, inaugurated by the Governor of BI,Darmin Nasution,on 29 November 2012 in Surabaya. This system connects between BPRs with Bank Indonesia National Clearing System (SKNB) through bank pengayom (apex bank). Practically, through this system BPR will have nationally access to transfer funds to all participating banks clearing.
STKE BPR is planned to be developed in all parts of Indonesia gradually. As an initial step, a pilot project BPR STKE was developed BI with Bank Jatim which acts as a bank for a BPR pengayon in East Java. Selection of eastern Java as a pilot project area based on the existence of the Bank Jatim as a pengayom bank considered successful. Of existing BPR 330, BPR 274 or as much as 83 percent of a member bank BPR pengayom. (*)
