SURABAYA, February 21, 2025. In the effort to enhance synergy among its Bank Business Group (KUB) members, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) successfully organized a Human Capital sharing session. Held at Hotel Bumi Surabaya, the event was officially opened by bankjatim's Compliance Director, Umi Rodiyah. The ranks of SEVP and the Vice President of Human Capital of bankjatim were also present as speakers.
Umi explained that through this sharing session, themed "Implementation of Synergy Among Bank Business Group (KUB) Members in the Field of Human Capital," it is hoped to provide additional knowledge and standardize perceptions. "Our hope is that we can all standardize perceptions regarding several matters, including the determination of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for management, work units, and individuals. Bank Jatim aims for standardization among the five KUB member banks that have joined bankjatim," she explained.
The sessions discussed included the Human Capital Blueprint, Management, Work Unit, & Individual KPIs, Punishment, Remuneration and Career Development, Competency Dictionary, and Human Capital Synergy to Enhance Collaboration Among KUB Members. These six points are important components that align with each Regional Development Bank (BPD). "This sharing session is also a form of realizing our synergy in the KUB, and it is hoped that there will be no disparity in knowledge, so that we can become a large bank," Umi stated.
As part of its strategic steps, Bank Jatim has become the holding company for 5 BPDs through the KUB, namely Bank NTB Syariah, Bank Lampung, Bank NTT, Bank Banten, and Bank Sultra. In line with the execution of this KUB corporate action, Bank Jatim has also prepared itself through a transformation of 5 pillars that are fundamental to the company's business. These are the improvement of excellence in human capital, the strengthening of the organizational structure to adapt to changing times followed by the synchronization of more adaptive procedures while still adhering to prudence, and the increase in utility in the information technology aspect. The final pillar is the implementation of corporate action for capital injection for the establishment needs of the KUB.
As a bank that continues to be innovative and trustworthy, bankjatim has proven that BPDs can compete nationally. Therefore, BJTM is committed to continuously providing added value for shareholders and strengthening its business growth. Solid performance was demonstrated in the November 2024 period, with bank jatim's assets reaching Rp 109.09 trillion, credit distribution at Rp 63.90 trillion, third-party funds collection at Rp 87.96 trillion, and a profit of Rp 1.02 trillion.
