NUSA DUA, November 28, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has once again recorded a brilliant achievement. On Friday night (28/11), for the first time, Bank Jatim successfully secured the Platinum Rank for its 2024 Integrated Report at the Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2025. Held at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, the award was received by Bank Jatim Corporate Secretary Fenty Rischana K.
Fenty stated that this Platinum Rank serves as tangible evidence of Bank Jatim's commitment to managing the institution sustainably, ensuring strong governance, increasing social impact, and contributing to environmental preservation. This achievement is also the result of the hard work of all Jatimers in preparing the integrated report. “Attaining the Platinum Rank marks an improvement in the quality of the implementation of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and sustainability reporting at Bank Jatim, which previously consistently achieved Gold ratings in previous ASRRAT events,” she explained.
According to Fenty, the application of ESG principles allows company operations to run sustainably and consistently produce positive performance. “Sustainability has become the foundation and part of Bank Jatim's development in conducting all business activities. Bank Jatim will continue to advance sustainability through increased reporting transparency, social impact measurement, resource efficiency, and digital service transformation to drive regional economic growth,” she stated.
On a consolidated basis, Bank Jatim's performance as of September 2025 has been quite positive. Total asset value stands at IDR 125.1 trillion, growing 17.3 percent from the previous year. Following the management of these assets, Bank Jatim was able to record net revenue of IDR 5.10 trillion, an increase of 29.25% YoY. ASRRAT 2025 was organized by the National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR) in collaboration with the Institute of Certified Sustainability Practitioners (ICSP). Entering its 21st year, ASRRAT has strengthened its role as a leading sustainability report quality assessment platform in Asia. This year, the event was participated in by 82 companies and organizations: 78 from Indonesia (including 3 public sector entities) and 4 foreign entities (1 from Bangladesh and 3 from the Philippines).
On this occasion, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of NCCR, Prof. Dr. Bambang Permadi Soemantri Brodjonegoro, explained the importance of harmonizing sustainability reporting standards globally. He emphasized that the development of international regulations such as IFRS S1-S2, TCFD, GRI Standards, and the ASEAN Taxonomy demands disclosures that are increasingly measurable, comparable, and utilized effectively by stakeholders. “Companies need to adapt to global demands that are becoming more measurable and comparable. Furthermore, the relevance of sustainability reports for regional and international competitiveness is crucial. With strong, consistent data aligned with global standards, a sustainability report can become a strategic tool that demonstrates an organization's readiness to face the economic transition and sustainability challenges,” he asserted.
Prof. Bambang also stated that ASRRAT plays a vital role as an independent assessment mechanism that supports the improvement of report quality year after year. ASRRAT 2025 was held as a form of appreciation, learning, and reflection on the development of sustainability reports in Asia. Through rating mechanisms and the provision of assessment feedback, such as scorecards, ASRRAT continues to drive consistent improvement in sustainability report quality, aligned with global assessment standards and sustainability practices.
