A Real Token of Customer Appreciation: BJTM Hosts Multipurpose Loan Draw with Umrah Prizes

SURABAYA, May 6, 2025. As a form of appreciation for all Multipurpose Loan Customers, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) has conducted the Phase 2 Multipurpose Loan Umrah Prize Draw for 2025 on Tuesday (06/05). Held at the Bromo Room of Bank Jatim Head Office, the event was attended by the Pgs. SEVP Consumer Banking Koerniawan Prijambodo and Wahyu Kusuma Wisnubroto, SEVP Network & Service, as well as witnesses of the Umrah Draw.
bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman explained that this draw program is a form of appreciation to customers who have entrusted Bank Jatim with financing their multipurpose needs. "We realize that customer trust is the main foundation in building beneficial and sustainable financial services. Therefore, this event is not just a ceremonial occasion, but also a moment to strengthen the good relationship between the bank and its customers," he said.
The multipurpose loan is one of bankjatim's products that has garnered public sympathy and helped many customers fulfill all beneficial needs for their well-being. This is in line with bankjatim's mission to contribute to the economic growth of East Java, which can positively impact the increase in public purchasing power.
"In addition to helping the welfare of the community, the multipurpose loan product also has its own appeal. Because there are many programs that benefit customers, one of which is by holding the KMG Umrah prize draw program, as a form of appreciation and recognition from bankjatim to customers who have entrusted their financial needs to us," he explained.
The KMG Umrah Prize Draw Program, with a quota of 100 (one hundred) winners, is divided into 2 (two) phases: Phase I Draw, which was conducted on December 18, 2024. Furthermore, Phase II Draw was held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, with a total of 76 winners from all Bank Jatim Branch Offices, whose departure schedules will be carried out in the 2nd Semester.
Bank Jatim recorded solid financial performance with the largest profit growth among other Regional Development Banks (BPDs) valued at IDR 1.281 trillion in December 2024. Driven by a significant surge in loan disbursement, Bank Jatim has channeled IDR 64.057 trillion in credit, or 16.98% Year-on-Year (YoY). This composition includes IDR 34.407 trillion in Consumer Loans and a 25.88% YoY increase in Productive Loans, totaling IDR 29.649 trillion.
"This achievement indicates that Bank Jatim is not only capable of maintaining operational stability amidst economic dynamics but has also succeeded in maximizing growth momentum through optimal intermediation function. Going forward, the management is optimistic that this positive performance can continue as efforts to strengthen digital transformation and improve operational efficiency progress," Busrul concluded.
