A Remarkable Achievement: Bank Jatim Successfully Secures Four Prestigious Awards Simultaneously.

JAKARTA, June 24, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) successfully secured four prestigious awards simultaneously from Infobank and Warta Ekonomi. The breakdown is: three awards from Infobank in the regional bank category, namely The Best Region Bank In Service Excellence For 15 Consecutive Years 2010 – 2024 (Diamond Rank), The Best Region Bank In Excellence E-Mail Service (Rank I), and The 2nd Best Region Bank I Excellence Chatbot (Rank II). The fourth award, from Warta Ekonomi, is as Indonesia Best Bank 2025 for strengthening regional banking ecosystem through innovation and collaboration (KBMI 2, BPD category).

The Infobank awards were received by Bank Jatim's Vice President of Risk Management, Wawan Budi R., on Tuesday (June 24). The Warta Ekonomi award was received by the Acting SEVP of Information Technology, Handayanto, on Wednesday (June 25).

Plt. President Director of Bank Jatim, Arif Suhirman, stated that all these awards signify the company's diligent effort to continuously maximize services to customers with the support of reliable digital solutions. Arif acknowledged that this achievement is the result of the hard work of all Jatimers in maintaining service consistency and innovation amidst the increasingly complex challenges of banking digitalization. "This award is also a testament to customer trust in our commitment to providing excellent service, both directly at branch offices and through digital platforms. We hope this achievement can motivate Bank Jatim to continue innovating and making a positive contribution to the community and regional development," he said.

Arif affirmed that Bank Jatim remains committed to becoming the best and most professional Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) and capable of being a key driver of the economy, especially in the East Java regional area. This is evident from Bank Jatim's consolidated performance for the 2024 fiscal year with its subsidiaries, where total assets increased by 13.76 percent to Rp 118.1 trillion. This indicates that the company's business expansion is progressing well and the bank continues to be trusted by customers and investors. Furthermore, third-party funds grew to Rp 90.016 trillion, signifying a high level of public confidence. Loans disbursed also increased significantly to Rp 75.35 trillion, demonstrating Bank Jatim's support for the real and productive sectors.

Regarding digitalization, it is undeniable that Bank Jatim continues to introduce various digital innovations in the banking world, adapting to the continuously evolving trends in the banking industry. This is because the transformation of digital banking services has become a necessity. An example is JConnect Mobile, which now provides integrated banking access on smartphones and can be accessed online via the internet.

According to Arif, JConnect Mobile is one of the bank's delivery channels in the form of mobile banking that functions to provide banking services with various attractive features. The latest features in JConnect Mobile have also been designed to simplify transactions for customers. "With JConnect, Bank Jatim is committed to continually providing the best services that align with customer needs, as well as supporting the digital banking transformation in Indonesia and East Java," he concluded.
