Bank Jatim and Bank Banten Enhance Business Synergy through the Deployment of Non-API Digital Services.

BANTEN, July 29, 2025. As a follow-up to the process of forming a Bank Business Group (Kelompok Usaha Bank - KUB), PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) together with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Banten (Perseroda) Tbk (Bank Banten) officially signed a cooperation agreement on the Provision of Non-Application Programming Interface (Non-API) Digital Services on Tuesday (29/7). Located at the Bank Banten Head Office, the agreement was signed by Yetty Fitria Suprapto - Senior Vice President of the Fund and Services Division, and Head of the Fund and Services Division of Bank Banten, I Gusti Ayu Nyoman Rai.
Acting President Director of Bank Jatim, Arif Suhirman, explained that the scope of this agreement is to provide Non-API Digital Services intended for Bank Banten. In the implementation of the cooperation based on this Agreement, Bank Banten will act as the user of the Digital Services, responsible for consistently socializing and educating its customers, and Bank Jatim will act as the manager of the Digital Services, responsible for managing the operational system so that it can function properly. "In this case, Bank Jatim will receive a sharing fee for every transaction that occurs through Bank Banten's Channel. Then, Bank Jatim will prepare the Non-API digital services for Bank Banten so that Bank Banten customers can conduct transactions," he elaborated.
Furthermore, Bank Banten will prepare the network connection from Bank Banten to Bank Jatim for transaction process activities and simultaneously provide all the necessary devices (hardware and software) for operational implementation at Bank Banten. "We are ready to provide experience and knowledge in taking strategic steps, including in the IT & Digital field. Because in essence, the implementation of KUB with fellow Regional Development Banks (BPD) in Indonesia is one of the efforts to strengthen the existence of BPDs in encouraging Indonesia's economic growth," emphasized Arif.
He is confident that with Bank Jatim's good history and experience, the business synergy with Bank Banten will bring a positive impact to both parties. "Hopefully, the planned collaborations can proceed as expected. We are also optimistic that this collaboration will create a mutually beneficial synergy, enhance innovation in the financial industry, and provide added value for all relevant parties," stated Arif.
In addition, President Director of Bank Banten Muhammad Busthami also expressed his gratitude for Bank Jatim's support so far, which has ensured the continuity of the cooperation process proceeds as scheduled. "We hope that this process will yield results that positively impact both sides and optimize the business synergy that has been running. We are also committed to making Bank Banten a trusted and primary prosperous partner for all communities," he concluded.
