SURABAYA, July 28, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) together with PT Ladang Karya Husada (SIPLah Toko Ladang) are aggressively continuing their collaboration. Following the signing of a cooperation agreement last year, Bank Jatim and Toko Ladang have now successfully held an event titled 'Salam Sapa UMKM' (Greetings to MSMEs). Located at the Bromo Room of Bank Jatim's Head Office, the event was attended by Bank Jatim's Compliance Director Umi Rodiyah, Toko Ladang's President Director Nur Hidayati, and 250 MSMEs from across East Java on Monday (28/7).
Umi explained that the event was a crucial moment for MSMEs because it thoroughly discussed the potential of digitalization in the current era. Furthermore, MSMEs also have the potential to receive direct financial support from Bank Jatim, along with mentorship and practical tips to develop their businesses. "In line with the theme of this event, which is Synergy of Digital Innovation, Financial Support, and Business Mentorship for Resilient MSMEs in the New Economic Era, we are committed to continually supporting MSMEs in undertaking digital transformation for the procurement of goods/services so that they can all advance to the next level," she elaborated.
According to Umi, MSMEs have been one of Indonesia's, especially East Java's, pillars in overcoming various economic phases. Therefore, Bank Jatim is committed to always being present to support and provide solutions for the development of MSMEs. "Not only providing support in the area of funding, but Bank Jatim also presents solutions for the development of MSMEs in East Java, both in terms of promotion and market access. Essentially, we will continue to innovate for the progress of MSME actors and improve the welfare of the community," she emphasized.
Umi also added that the business potential for Bank Jatim's credit in the MSME sector is very large. Thus, the cooperation between Bank Jatim and Toko Ladang is expected to accelerate credit portfolio growth and further develop the businesses of Toko Ladang's MSME merchants. "We certainly hope that the synergy between Bank Jatim and Toko Ladang can also boost the company's credit performance," she said.
On the same occasion, Nur Hidayati explained that SIPLah is the School Procurement Information System (Sistem Informasi Pengadaan Sekolah), a digital system from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) that assists educational units (Satdik) and services affiliated with SIPLah's online marketplace managing partners. To date, SIPLah has connected over 223,000 educational units with 100,000 providers of goods and services through 15 online marketplace managing partners across Indonesia. "Furthermore, the distribution of Toko Ladang marketplace transactions in East Java in 2024 has reached thousands. In Surabaya alone, total transactions reached 93,390 with a transaction value of Rp 330 billion. Then in Banyuwangi Regency, there were 74,143 transactions with a transaction value of Rp 178 billion. And in Kediri Regency, there were 76,942 transactions with a transaction value of Rp 114 billion," she clarified.
Nur also added that the total active merchants of Toko Ladang in East Java reached 12,699 merchants. "Therefore, this collaboration is an important step in expanding market reach for thousands of MSMEs that have joined Toko Ladang. The potential for financing within it is also very large. We hope this collaboration can continue to run well and provide a positive impact on the economy in East Java," she concluded.
