Bank Jatim Donates Two Water Tank Units to Sampang Regency Government as Part of CSR Initiative

SAMPANG, March 20, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has officially handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to the Sampang Regency Government. The assistance provided is in the form of two units of 5,000-liter water tanks. Located at the Sampang Regency Government Office, the CSR was handed over by the Head of Bank Jatim Sampang Branch Erny Dewi S to the Regional Secretary of Sampang Regency Yuliadi Setiyawan on Thursday (20/3).
The President Director of Bank Jatim, Busrul Iman, explained that the provision of these water tanks aims to improve community service facilities such as watering city plants throughout the Sampang Regency area. In addition, the water tanks can also be functioned to drop off clean water to remote villages during the dry season. "This assistance not only implies concern for the sustainability of life but also proves that the togetherness of Bank Jatim and the Sampang Regency Government can bring a real positive impact to the entire community. This is also a form of the company's social responsibility to the community," he explained.
Busrul hopes this assistance can be a concrete effort in answering the serious challenge faced almost every year by several regions, namely the disaster of drought due to a long dry season. "Hopefully, this water tank truck will not only become a technical supporting facility for the Sampang Regency Government but can also provide clean water access services during difficult times and, most importantly, can reach a wider service coverage," he explained.
According to Busrul, the distribution of the assistance is also one of Bank Jatim's efforts to realize sustainable development. "Bank Jatim will continue to be committed to supporting the policies of the Sampang Regency Government and will always play a part in supporting the Sampang Regency Government in realizing a more advanced and prosperous Sampang," he said.
Meanwhile, Yuliadi Setiyawan expressed his gratitude to Bank Jatim for the assistance provided. He stated that the assistance of two units of water tank trucks is very meaningful for Sampang Regency. This is because, so far, Sampang Regency has indeed lacked a fleet to distribute water to remote villages during the dry season. "We also thank Bank Jatim for the synergy that has been established so far in supporting government programs. All parties must indeed collaborate and synergize to realize community welfare. Hopefully, this cooperation will continue and bring blessings to all," he concluded.
