MOJOKERTO, July 29, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) continues to encourage business actors, especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), to always increase the competitiveness of Indonesian export products on the global stage. As a form of appreciation for the achievements of business actors in penetrating international markets and simultaneously to strengthen the spirit of national exports, on Tuesday (29/7), the Inaugural Export Release of CV Mitraindo Shoes Pratama Footwear Products to Busan, South Korea, was held. Located in Ngastemi Village, Mojokerto, the export release was attended by the Director General of National Export Development of the Ministry of Trade Deden Muhammad Fajar Shiddiq, Head of PPEJP Sugih Rahmansyah, Regent of Mojokerto Muhammad Al Barra, Head of the Industry and Trade Office of Mojokerto Regency Iwan, and Vice President of International Banking at Bank Jatim Hening Triujianti.

Acting President Director of Bank Jatim Arif Suhirman explained that CV Mitraindo Shoes Pratama is a Bank Jatim-assisted SME from Mojokerto. The footwear products dispatched are valued at USD 37,060 or equivalent to IDR 602 million. ”This activity serves as a symbolic momentum marking the departure of export commodities from East Java to various destination countries. In addition, this event also aims to demonstrate the commitment of Bank Jatim and all stakeholders in expanding global market access and increasing the added value of national products,” he emphasized.

Arif hopes that this activity can create synergy between business actors, local governments, central institutions, and international trading partners in building a sustainable and inclusive export ecosystem. As a regional development bank, Bank Jatim is committed to driving the economic growth of East Java through facilitation and guidance for export-oriented customers. Thus, this activity is expected to improve Bank Jatim's brand image as a Foreign Exchange Bank that cares about SMEs and exports.

”This export release is not just a ceremony, but a tangible form of Bank Jatim's contribution to global trade. We want to contribute to introducing and strengthening the position of East Java's superior commodities in the international market. Hopefully, this export release can drive local economic growth, create jobs, and improve the welfare of the community in the region,” he asserted.

The Regent of Mojokerto, commonly referred to as Gus Bupati, also added that this is a proud first step and serves as proof that local products from Mojokerto Regency are capable of penetrating the global market and competing in quality. According to him, the step taken by CV Mitraindo Shoes Pratama can serve as an inspiration for other small and medium industry (SMI) actors in Mojokerto. ”We hope this export will continue and increase, both in terms of volume, product variety, and market reach,” he added.

In the future, the Mojokerto Regency Government will continue to strengthen training, mentoring, and promotion for SMIs. "We are currently in dire need of international markets due to the impact of Trump's tariffs. We must look for other more massive markets, so that our export products also increase and stabilize, and this will certainly have an impact on our country's economy," he emphasized.
