Bank Jatim Provides CSR Support to Bojonegoro Regency Government, Targeting Health and Education.

BOJONEGORO, July 18, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has officially handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to the Bojonegoro Regency Government on Friday (18/7). The assistance provided included one unit of ambulance and one unit of hearse for Dr. R. Sosodoro Djatikoesoemo Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Bojonegoro Regency. Furthermore, scholarships for underprivileged public or private SMA-SMK (high school/vocational high school) students in Bojonegoro Regency, rehabilitation of an 'embung' (reservoir) in Hargomulyo Village, Bojonegoro Regency, construction of bore wells in Pohwates, Lengkong, and Karangdinoyo Villages, Bojonegoro Regency. Lastly, assistance was provided for the procurement of library equipment for SMPN 1 Bojonegoro, SMPN 2 Bojonegoro, SMPN 7 Bojonegoro, and SDN Kalitidu I, Bojonegoro Regency.
The CSR handover event, held at the Bojonegoro Regency Government Hall, was attended by the Regent of Bojonegoro Setyo Wahono, Deputy Regent of Bojonegoro Nurul Azizah, SEVP Micro, Retail, and Consumer of Bank Jatim Kamiliah, AVP Corporate Communication of Bank Jatim Mi’roj Subhanto, and Head of Bank Jatim Bojonegoro Branch Kartika Diah Sri Rahayu on Friday (18/7).
Acting President Director of Bank Jatim, Arif Suhirman, explained that all CSR assistance from Bank Jatim, spanning health, education, and environment sectors, is expected to address the needs of the Bojonegoro community. "For example, this ambulance assistance is intended to help with health services and integrated emergency response systems, and is also expected to benefit the community as a means of transporting the deceased, especially for high-altitude areas/regions," he stated.
Furthermore, the CSR scholarship aims to improve access to education and encourage academic achievement for underprivileged students in Bojonegoro. This is so that in the future, they can be more motivated to excel. "Then, the 'embung' assistance aims to address water availability in the Hargomulyo Village area, thereby expecting to increase agricultural yields. Similarly, the construction of bore wells also aims to meet irrigation needs in agricultural lands," Arif elaborated.
Arif hopes that the cooperation between Bank Jatim and the Bojonegoro Regency Government will continue to develop in the future to support the improvement of the regional economy. "Because it is our obligation to always synergize in building and encouraging a region in East Java so that it can become a region with a good level of service," he asserted.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Bojonegoro expressed his highest appreciation to Bank Jatim for the provision of CSR and the cooperation that has been established so far. "Hopefully, this cooperation can continue to be enhanced in the future. We will utilize this assistance as well as possible to support and serve the community. We hope that the CSR provided in the future can align with the Regency Government's programs, so that the priorities of the Regency Government can be assisted," he concluded.
