Bank Jatim Provides CSR to Tuban Regency Administration for Drought Mitigation.

TUBAN, March 23, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has officially handed over its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to the Tuban Regency Administration. The assistance provided is one unit of a water tanker truck. Located at the Tuban Regency Square, the CSR was handed over by Bank Jatim's Director of Medium, Corporate & Network Business, Arif Suhirman, to the Head of the Tuban Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Sudarmaji on Sunday (23/3). Also present on the occasion were the Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa, the Regent of Tuban Aditya Halindra Faridzky, and the Deputy Regent of Tuban Joko Sarwono.
Arif explained that the provision of this water tanker aims to help overcome the drought in Tuban Regency and at the same time distribute clean water in the Tuban area. "This assistance not only implies a concern for the sustainability of life but also proves that the togetherness of Bank Jatim and the Tuban Regency Administration can bring a real positive impact to the entire community. This is also a form of the company's social responsibility to the community," he explained.
Arif hopes that this assistance can be useful for the Tuban Regency Administration and have a positive impact on the welfare of the community. "Hopefully, this water tanker truck will not only be a technical support facility for the Tuban Regency Administration but can also provide access to clean water services in difficult times and, most importantly, can reach a wider service coverage," he clarified.
According to Arif, the distribution of the assistance is also one of Bank Jatim's efforts to realize sustainable development. "Bank Jatim will continue to be committed to supporting the policies of the Tuban Regency Administration and will always take part in supporting the Tuban Regency Administration to realize a more advanced Tuban," he stated.
Meanwhile, Aditya Halindra Faridzky expressed his gratitude to Bank Jatim for the assistance provided. He said that the water tanker truck assistance is very meaningful for Tuban Regency. "We also thank Bank Jatim for the synergy that has been established so far in supporting government programs. All parties must indeed collaborate and synergize to realize community welfare. Hopefully, this cooperation will continue and bring blessings to all," he concluded.
On this occasion, Bank Jatim and the Tuban Regency Administration also carried out the signing of an MoU related to the electronification of the Tuban Regency government transactions. This was done in the context of implementing regional financial digitalization, which has become an urgency in an era like today. Because with digitalization, it is believed that it can support effective and efficient regional financial governance to encourage transparency and acceleration of local government transactions.
