Bank Jatim Revitalizes Trenggalek Pendopo Vicinity, Enhancing the MSME Area.

TRENGGALEK, April 15, 2025. As a form of the company's social responsibility to the surrounding environment, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has officially handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance to the Trenggalek Regency Government on Tuesday (15/4). The assistance provided is in the form of revitalizing the area around the Pendopo Manggala Praja Nugraha of Trenggalek Regency. Located at the Trenggalek Pendopo, the CSR was symbolically handed over by Bank Jatim's Director of IT, Digital, and Operations, Zulhelfi Abidin, to the Deputy Regent of Trenggalek, Syah Mohammad Natanegara.
Zulhelfi explained that the revitalization of the area around the pendopo will provide many benefits. Such as improving the community's economy and upgrading facilities and infrastructure in the pendopo area. With the presence of Bank Jatim Peduli CSR in Trenggalek, it is hoped that it can become a new attraction for visitors so as to realize economic independence and equalize the level of community welfare.
"Because, around the Pendopo Manggala Praja Nugraha, there is an area that can be utilized by MSMEs and all segments of society to trade their businesses. Thus, the potential of Trenggalek Regency's superior products can be further enhanced. In addition, with this revitalization, the MSME area can become more beautiful because it is neatly organized," he elaborated.
According to Zulhelfi, this assistance is a form of our love and concern for the people of Trenggalek who have given their trust and support to Bank Jatim in developing its business, and so that it can be an inspiration and bring a positive impact to the environment and society.
Zulhelfi also hopes that this CSR can become a distinct attraction for the community to spend time in the Trenggalek town square and pendopo area. He emphasized that this revitalization will contribute to the increase in transactions in the MSME sector located around the town square. "We are optimistic that this revitalization will create a domino effect for the economy of Trenggalek Regency, especially in the trade and tourism sectors. We hope that the good cooperation that has been established with the Trenggalek Regional Government can continue," he stressed.
Meanwhile, Syah Mohammad Natanegara expressed his deepest gratitude to Bank Jatim for the CSR program that the community can already enjoy. He hopes that this program will continue in the future. Because, in addition to being part of the face of Trenggalek, the town square and the area around the pendopo are also public spaces that can be utilized multifunctionally. Namely as a place for community recreation and a center for the people's economy.
