Bank Jatim Secures Top Honors at ARA 2024 for Publicly Traded Financial Regional-Owned Enterprises.

JAKARTA, December 8, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) successfully achieved a prestigious award in the Annual Report Award (ARA) 2024. This year, the largest Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) in East Java was once again crowned as the winner in the Publicly Listed Financial BUMD category during the ARA 2024 Awarding Night at the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building, Jakarta, on Monday night (9/12). Carrying the theme “Leading with Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability: The Path to a Sustainable Future,” the award was received directly by Bank Jatim Independent Commissioner Dadang Setiabudi and Bank Jatim President Director Winardi Legowo.
Winardi expressed his deep gratitude for the award granted to the company. He stated that this recognition marks Bank Jatim's success in implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices. According to him, the implementation and strengthening of good GCG is not merely an obligation but a necessity for a public company. Therefore, management is committed to ensuring that GCG principles—such as transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness—serve as the foundation for the company’s business execution. “This achievement reflects our commitment to maintaining transparency and accelerating improvements in the reporting process. Good governance is the primary asset for Bank Jatim to maintain credibility and public trust,” Winardi asserted.
Furthermore, Winardi added that through the implementation of good governance, the company’s operational smoothness can be maintained, simultaneously increasing stakeholder trust and meeting compliance standards set by regulators. By implementing good governance, Bank Jatim can provide broader added value to stakeholders and the national economy.
“We would like to thank the KNKG (National Committee on Governance Policy), which also received support from relevant parties such as the OJK, IDX, and other institutions, for evaluating and appreciating the GCG practices we implement. This award will certainly serve as a driving spirit for all Jatimers in strengthening the commitment to GCG implementation in the future, aimed at making bankjatim the number one BPD in Indonesia,” he explained.
Bank Jatim's consistency in implementing GCG is in line with its financial performance, which continues to grow sustainably. On a consolidated basis, Bank Jatim's performance as of September 2025 was quite positive. Total asset value reached IDR 125.1 trillion, growing 17.3 percent from the previous year. The majority of this asset increase originated from productive asset contributions, such as an increase in credit distribution amounting to IDR 80.2 trillion (up 29% YoY) and the management of third-party funds totaling IDR 99.3 trillion (up 13.5% YoY). Consolidated net profit in this third quarter recorded a figure of IDR 1.14 trillion, growing 23.5% YoY.
The achievement at the ARA further adds to the collection of annual report awards obtained by Bank Jatim. For information, a short while ago, Bank Jatim successfully achieved Platinum Rank in The Asia Sustainability Reporting Rating (ASRRAT) 2025 organized by the National Center for Corporate Reporting (NCCR). In the same year, Bank Jatim also successfully swept an award from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as the Best Regional Development Bank (BPD) 2025 nationally. “With the attainment of this ARA, it is hoped that it can support Bank Jatim's performance in the future and increase the quality of governance and information for bankjatim's stakeholders,” Winardi added.
Meanwhile, the ARA is a joint initiative of the KNKG, OJK, Ministry of Finance (Directorate General of Taxes), Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs, IDX, and IAI to encourage sound, credible, and informative governance practices. The evaluation is conducted comprehensively, covering the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and readability of the annual report for stakeholders.
