Bank Jatim Wins "Indonesia Best BUMD Awards 2021"

PT. East Java Regional Development Bank Tbk. (bankjatim) made another achievement at the beginning of the year in the Indonesia Best BUMD 2021 event. With the theme "Region The Front Line of Indonesia Economic Recovery", bankjatim won the Regional Bank category as Supporting Local Business Industries Through Outstanding Business Development Program at East Java.
The assessment of the winners is carried out using the monitoring media analysis method through content analysis. The monitoring media saw a variety of positive sentiments that emerged in the existing mainstream media and social media. The assessment indicators used in this award are publication, innovation, and community service (source: Warta Ekonomi).
The award ceremony was held virtually and witnessed by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartarto. In his remarks, he said that Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) have a strategic role in accelerating regional economic recovery. "The recovery of the regional economy will be the foundation for the recovery of the national economy," said Airlangga.
Bankjatim Corporate Secretary Umi Rodiyah who participated in the ceremony hopes that with this award, bankjatim will be more motivated to improve performance so that it can contribute more to the national economic recovery, especially the regional economy in East Java.
