Bank Jatim's Consumer Credit Posts Positive Performance.

SURABAYA, April 21, 2025. Amid global economic challenges, the consumer credit performance of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) continues to show positive figures. Throughout 2024, Bank Jatim successfully distributed Rp 34.4 trillion in consumer credit. This figure is up 10.26 percent compared to 2023.
This happened due to a significant increase in public consumption, which contributed to the rise in consumer credit value. Bank Jatim's consumer credit distribution is supported by multipurpose credit. In 2024, Bank Jatim's multipurpose credit stood at Rp 28.1 trillion. This figure rose 11.71 percent (YoY). The second position was filled by Mortgage Loans (KPR), with a distribution figure of Rp 3.2 trillion, an increase of 24.33 percent compared to 2023.
Of course, this achievement was made possible by the hard work of all Jatimers (the moniker for Bank Jatim employees). In addition, there is a figure who has greatly contributed to the increase in Bank Jatim's consumer credit performance, namely SEVP Consumer Banking Hermita. Under her direction, BJTM's consumer banking continued to introduce various innovations, thus positively impacting the company's performance.
It's understandable, as Hermita is not new to the banking world. Hermita began her career as SEVP Consumer Banking at Bank Jatim from 2023 until March 2025. Previously, the Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) alumna had a career as SVP of Align Corporate & Consumer Businesses at Bank BNI from 2020 – 2021. Then, still at the same company, she also served as SVP of Smart City, Business Optimization from 2021 - 2023.
Due to her brilliant achievement, it is not surprising that Hermita has now successfully secured the position of Commercial Banking Director at Bank BTN, which was approved at Bank BTN's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPS) on March 26, 2025.

Meanwhile, on Kartini Day, Hermita also conveyed a message that we must all emulate the spirit of Kartini, who always inspires Indonesia. According to her, the women of the nation currently hold a crucial role in shaping the direction of the nation's future. "Therefore, we must become strong women and be a light in guiding this nation's progress. Happy Kartini Day to all the great women in Indonesia," she explained.
