JAKARTA, November 7, 2025. The commitment of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) to delivering banking product transformation and innovation has once again received appreciation. Bank Jatim successfully swept an award from Tv One in the category of Innovation for Product Transformation: “Innovation in MSME Development and Financing Access” at the Inovasi Membangun Negeri 2025 event. Held at Rasuna Epicentrum Studio, Jakarta, the award was presented by Tv One's Director of Business Marketing & Programming, Maria Goretti Limi, and received directly by Bank Jatim President Director Winardi Legowo on Friday night (7/11).
Winardi noted that this achievement is tangible proof of Bank Jatim's commitment to strengthening its role in regional economic growth through digital innovations that facilitate financial access for MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise) actors. Bank Jatim consistently develops various digital products and services to expand financial inclusion in East Java. This is in line with the bank's vision to become a highly competitive regional bank that provides real contributions to the economic progress of the community.
“We are very grateful to Tv One for this award. We dedicate this to all customers and the people of East Java who continue to place their trust in Bank Jatim. We will continue to innovate so that our services remain relevant to modern needs, especially in supporting MSMEs to 'level up' through easier access to financing and digital payments,” he stated.
According to Winardi, Bank Jatim does not stop at providing financing but also offers support in the form of market access through partnerships with various parties, both locally and internationally. These partnerships are expected to help MSME actors expand their markets and increase the competitiveness of local products. “Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen collaboration with local governments, financial institutions, and business communities to create a conducive ecosystem for MSME development. This step is expected to increase MSME contribution to the national economy while opening new opportunities for small business actors across Indonesia,” he explained.
In addition to Bank Jatim, the East Java Provincial Government also received an award in the category of Innovation Public Services: “Innovation in Sustainable Public Transportation,” which was received by the Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa. Both awards reflect the strong collaboration between the East Java Provincial Government and Bank Jatim in presenting various innovative programs that support regional progress, particularly in the fields of public service and community economic empowerment.
The CEO of tvOne, Taufan E.N Rotorasiko, also emphasized that the Inovasi Membangun Negeri 2025 event is a form of appreciation for agencies, institutions, and local governments that have succeeded in bringing innovation to various sectors to support the nation's progress. Through research and verification conducted with an expert team from Bakrie University, the jury selected the best innovations that have proven to provide real contributions to national development.
