Among other things, it makes the body healthier, awakens the spirit of togetherness, and there is an economic turnover because it involves MSMEs. "The form of our support in this Healthy Walk in Situbondo varies. Starting from providing sponsorship to facilitating MSME transactions with bankjatim QRIS, "he said.

According to Arief, the high enthusiasm of the community in participating in the healthy walk event in Situbondo was partly due to the door prizes or prizes given by the sponsors. There were hundreds of door prizes given to participants. Such as Umrah prizes, motorbikes, electric bikes, mountain bikes, refrigerators, and many more. "bankjatim together with other BUMDs also participated in facilitating the door prizes for the success of this East Java Provincial Government activity," he said.

Arief emphasized that the support provided by bankjatim in the event is evidence of the establishment of good synergy and collaboration with the East Java Provincial Government. Moreover, East Java has excellent economic growth and recorded a higher rate than national economic growth. "Therefore we will always provide full support to every positive activity that is able to accelerate the economy of East Java," he said.

On this occasion, bankjatim also facilitated productive zakat assistance for ultra-micro MSME business actors. As a Regional Development Bank (BPD) that grew large in East Java, bankjatim has a commitment to contribute to encouraging the welfare of the people of East Java. "The involvement of bankjatim in the distribution of the Provincial Government's social assistance program is the realization of the company's support in improving the quality of human life through improving people's welfare. Hopefully bankjatim can continue to make a positive contribution to the country," said Arief.

Meanwhile, Situbondo Regent Karna Suswandi said that the enthusiasm of the participants to follow the healthy walk was very high. Initially, registrants for healthy walking activities were limited to 15 thousand people. But the quota was later increased because there were still many residents who wanted to participate. "The number of healthy walk participants has reached 15,000, but there are still many participants who want to register so we took the initiative to make more coupons. Therefore, the total number of participants reached 17,555 people," said Bung Karna, greeting the Regent of Situbondo.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Governor who has helped many development programs in Situbondo, including the expansion of access to the Jangkar-Lembar crossing and the installation of electricity for residents of Labuhan Merak Hamlet in the Baluran National Park area. "Thanks to Governor Khofifah, thank God Situbondo is gradually making progress. The Jangkar-Lembar crossing has been operating since yesterday, and the installation of electricity to Labuhan Merak Hamlet will be inaugurated today," he explained.

East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa said that this healthy walk with Situbondo Regency residents aims to provide a healthy spirit for East Java residents in building a more advanced East Java Province. On the occasion, Khofifah also visited a cheap market stand that provided a number of basic necessities, including rice, cooking oil, sugar, eggs and ingredients at the Situbondo Regency Hall. "We hope that this bazaar can fulfill the affordability of the people, especially Situbondo and East Java in the midst of rising prices of basic commodities, especially rice," said Khofifah.

The Governor asked all Regents and Mayors in East Java to fully support this program comprehensively so that people's purchasing power can be affordable. "The more cheap market operations, the more the purchasing power of the community will be fulfilled according to the needs of each household. The rise of East Java development in all sectors will contribute to realizing an advanced Indonesia," he concluded.
