Optimistic About 2026 Performance, Two Bank Jatim Directors Snap Up Shares

SURABAYA, January 5, 2026. Amidst the increasingly positive performance of the company, several Directors of PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) continue to increase their share ownership. This serves as a form of sense of belonging and management's optimism regarding the company's performance heading into 2026. Two Bank Jatim directors jointly purchased shares in bulk at the end of 2026: namely, the Vice President Director of Bank Jatim, R. Arief Wicaksono, and the Director of Medium, Corporate & Network Business of Bank Jatim, Arif Suhirman.
It was noted that R. Arief Wicaksono purchased 461,500 Bank Jatim shares. As a result, Arief now holds 1.86 million shares. Arif Suhirman did the same, purchasing 461,500 shares. Consequently, Arif currently holds 1.64 million Bank Jatim shares.
R. Arief Wicaksono expressed his deepest gratitude to all customers, stakeholders, the government, and regulators for the trust placed in the company, enabling Bank Jatim to navigate 2025 with solid performance. According to him, the economy of both East Java and Indonesia will remain resilient and stable amidst various global and regional challenges.
As of November 2025, Bank Jatim's net profit (bank only) reached Rp 1.27 trillion, growing by 21.81 percent (YoY). Furthermore, in terms of credit, throughout the first eleven months of 2025, Bank Jatim recorded fairly good credit growth of 6 percent (YoY).
The digital banking line also saw positive growth. By November 2025, JConnect Mobile reached 973,244 users, an increase of 20.14 percent (YoY). Meanwhile, the transaction value was recorded at Rp 58.36 trillion, a growth of 22.12 percent (YoY). Additionally, JConnect QRIS BJTM reached 201,796 users, up 18.39 percent (YoY), with a transaction value of Rp 3.49 trillion, representing an increase of 28.09 percent (YoY).
“Looking at Bank Jatim’s positive performance towards the end of 2025, we are optimistic that the business prospects in 2026 will be very good, and certainly, Bank Jatim will always consistently support economic growth across various sectors,” said R. Arief Wicaksono.
